Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Workle application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Workle is a focus tracking application that helps users monitor their study sessions, create timelapse videos, and analyze their focus patterns using AI-powered insights.

By using Workle, you agree that your session videos may be uploaded to our secure cloud storage (Supabase) to enable playback and access across devices. You retain ownership of your videos, and they are not shared with third parties.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Workle. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use Workle only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Workle offers auto-renewing subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms; we do not process payments or issue refunds directly.

User Responsibilities

  • Use the app responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws
  • Maintain the security of your account and device
  • Respect the privacy of others when recording sessions
  • Not use the app for any illegal or harmful purposes

Intellectual Property

The Workle app, including its design, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your study data and timelapse videos.

Limitation of Liability

Workle is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including data loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Apple App Store

These terms are between you and Workle, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
